We are the Whites: summer

Honestly, this summer is a complete blur because of the obvious, you know, having a baby and all. It felt like we were stuck inside all summer because of newborn baby Beau, but looking at these pics, we did get out now and then! I decided after having two babies in the middle of the summer, hopefully whenever I have another baby it won't be in the summer, it kind of kills me to be stuck inside when the weather is so beautiful. Call it FOMO if you wish, but that's what it is. We had a fun summer though as pictured:

I went to get my hair done one day and came home to a bunch of new books that Kev and Halle had bought at a yard sale:

Kev took Halle swimming one day to get her out of the house after Beau was born

we spent lots of days like these, cuddled up to baby beau in our air conditioned house

another day kev took halle out of the house and met up with her cousins at the museum at the Thanksgiving Point

Summer in a nutshell really

Halle was obsessed with swimming in our backyard and taking her diaper off. Kev and I thought it was so funny

Halle loved to stash toys in this random cupboard in our kithen

Here was an outing we took up the canyon one day when we were feeling stir crazy. I think Beau was only a week old or so! Halle kept running down the trail and by the end had all sorts of scabs on her legs but just kept going. She crazy!

Kevin was such a champ on his birthday. Beau was only 8 days old so our list of things to do was limited. And the only day our photographer could take newborn pics was that morning so he took pics on his birthday, which he hates. he's the bomb. We did make it to grab some pizza and went up to Silver Lake, it was beautiful up there. Next year I hope to make his birthday the best ever to make up for it!

We did have Kev's sister's family come over for Ice Cream cake, that was fun. Making this oreo ice cream cake has become a tradition for kev's bday each year!

Trying to entertain Halle while taking care of newborn Beau was a whole new ball game, I tried all sorts of things to keep her entertained

I swear Halle had this scab on her forehead all summer because she kept bonking it- I swear she's going to have a scar

Sam, Jenn and fam stayed with us one weekend and halle had a great time with her little play mates

I vividly remember this day, it was the first day that I ventured out of the house on my own with both kids . I took Halle to the Museum at Thanksgiving Point. It was really good for Halle to get out of the house which was the point. It was a little stressful, but thankfully Beau slept most of the time. On the way home I had to get gas and nurse him in the car.

This was the maiden voyage of our double stroller, we went to food truck thursday at Daybreak, one of our fav summer activities

Another Bear Lake day! We went with my fam and my Aunt Sandi and her family. It was a lot of fun!

Chick Fil A for lunch was a staple. I've raised Halle right and chickfila sauce is her most favorite.

I headed to Logan one weekend while Kev met up with his friends in Las Vegas. We had such a fun time and my dad set up the slip and slide. Halle loved it and Beau slept. :)

Also while I was in Logan my dad took halle for a few hours one morning and it was so sweet. They went to a little league football game, got some chickfila and hung out in her tent. It made me real happy.
