2 months of Beau

At two months:

Beau isn''t quite sleeping through the night yet but I feel that we are so close. He's great at falling asleep on his own when he's drowsy so that's promising. This waking up a couple times a night thing has rocked my world! I never had to do that with Halle!

We are mostly nursing, like 97%. I actually hope to go to 80% nursing, 20% formula so Kevin can feed him too, just for my sanity. haha

Beau has decided he likes a binkie, but only to help him fall asleep for naps, I'll take it!

He's smiling! It is my favorite thing when they start smiling! It's seriously the best.

He started doing this half laugh thing- I feel like it's super early for laughing! We could get him to do it most every night before bed. (especially Kevin) SO cute.

We had a scare this month when Beau ran a really high temperature of 103. I called his Dr and they told us to just take him straight to the Emergency Room at Primary Children's Hospital since he was so young. It was so scary! They ran a blood test,  a urine test, and a nose test on him, and when all of those came back negative they sent us home rather than stay there for 36 hours like they had originally said.  So it was good that we were going home, but he still had a fever and we still didn't know what was wrong with him. We went to the Dr the next morning and she didn't have anything for me, but she was there for me and continued to text me throughout the day- I was so grateful for that. By the end of the day his fever was gone and he was smiling a ton. I was so grateful- we had been praying all day! We still don't know exactly was wrong but I'm so glad it wasn't something more serious.

He still sleeps in the rock and play and Kevin just convinced me to move him out of our room. It was harder to move him out for me this time! We all seem to sleep better when we're in separate rooms though!

He is the most easy going, happy baby in the world. He seriously never cries unless Halle wacks him in the face or he's way beyond hungry. When he's hungry he starts sniffing around and I know it's time. haha. The most common thing that's said when we bring Beau out with friends or family is, "I don't think I've heard a noise from him this whole time!" Halle was a super easy baby, but if it's possible Beau is even easier! I don't know if I dare have any more babies after this! ;)

If I could describe Beau in one word it would be "peace"
We love him SO MUCH

And here's a million of this little waking up sequence because I couldn't help it!

Beau and baby Wayne, 3 months apart!

Cousins and their grammy!

With this one I tried to recreate some that I took with Halle. They kind of turned out the same! Kind of.
