Paris

Paris! We came back! We are so spoiled and were in Paris last year and then got to come back this year. Last year it was at the very end of our trip and kind of hurried, so we wanted to experience the City of Love again, and especially this time since it was just the two of us. We stayed at this cute hotel which was very close to the Eiffel Tower which was convenient.
To get to Paris we took a train from London. And I was reminded again that often times French People are not very kind if you don't know their language. :) I remember that we got to Paris and were settled at our hotel and received the news from our realtor that we had a couple offers on our house! That was really happy news and made our walk to the Eiffel Tower even more memorable. I'll never forget the first time I laid eyes on the tower, there was just nothing like it, but this time still took my breath away! THE Eiffel Tower people. So iconic.

We took the boat tour on the Seine River to see all the sites. Paris is so cool. I can't say that enough! I/ love learning the history.

Then we headed over to the Arc de Triomphe. Last time we didn't climb to the top and I had really wanted to so we did it this time. We made it around sunset and it was beautiful! 

The Arc de Triomphe is so cool! I love that its the middle of a giant roundabout. 

We were starving after that so we stopped into a restaurant. I don't know if they were short handed that night but we waited about 30 minutes after we got to our table and then just left because we were too hungry. So that was a bit of a fail. haha We did find some food and then walked back to our hotel, seeing the Eiffel Tower all lit up on our way home! Vive la Paris!
