We are the Whites: The Rest of Oahu

Halle has been making so many people smile on this trip. Anytime we are talking to someone or stopped near someone she wants to ask their name. She'll say, "what's your name?"And then they ask her name and she'll say, "I Halle" and it's the sweetest thing ever. I love that she loves other people and wants to know their names. There is no such thing as a stranger to her! She's such a sweet little girl and is melting hearts left and right. Lately and especially on this trip she's obsessed with being a kitty cat and asks us to pet her and introduces herself to others as, "I Halle kitty cat"

We stayed at this cutest Airbnb down the street from Laie Point and it had some great views of the mountains. I actually really love that traveling with kids makes us get up early because I feel like we're not wasting a second!

We met our friend Steph and her little girl Rosie at their church (Mike was out of town that day) and then afterwards went to this little spot that we had found on our last trip here. Last time we stayed across the street from here and took a picture of Halle in this spot so I had to do it again! It kind of turned into a bit of a photo shoot over here since we were in our Sunday clothes.

Then we came back and headed to the beach. This was the only day of our vacation that was rainy and overcast, so I can't complain about that.

It didn't end up being a great day for the beach but there were some crazy waves on the North Shore and we were able to watch a surf competition after lucking out and finding a spot to park. (it was crazy!) The waves were so cool!

After an afternoon of watching surfing we went to the temple grounds. The Laie Temple grounds are some of my favorites! It is so beautiful and peaceful there!
