London

We went on a 10 day anniversary trip to Europe in April! We had been planning it for almost a year and were obviously so excited! My parents and the rest of my family in Logan helped to take care of our kids (and Navy) and they are all the BEST. Especially my mom. Things got so crazy right before we left because we decided to list our house right before, making it much easier to show it. I'm not sure if I have ever been more exhausted or stressed out. And I'm also not sure if our house has ever been cleaner! So between getting the house ready, packing up the kids, dropping them off in Logan, and packing up ourselves we were working till the last second when our lyft driver came to take us to the airport. The craziness of it all made the trip even better though- it was so nice to get a little break. We left on April 12, which was the day of our five year anniversary!
First stop: London!

After we finally made it to London after hours of flying we rode into Paddington station and we both geeked out a little bit because we love the Paddington movies.

After getting situated in our hotel we started hitting the city so we wouldn't get jet lagged. I was really impressed with London's subway. It's super clean and everyone is super helpful. I'm comparing to Paris's subway, which is super dirty, smelly etc.
Our first stop was Trafalgar Square and the museum:

We walked over to see Big Ben but it's under construction for the next four years. great timing!

Next we walked over to Buckingham Palace. It was so beautiful to be in London during spring time with all of the blossoms.

Buckingham Palace! I have been obsessed with The Royal Family lately, probably from watching The Crown too much and Meghan Markle, but it was so awesome to see Buckingham Palace!

We got afternoon tea, and it was a fun London experience. When in London, right?

We spent the night walking around town and it was beyond good to just be with Kev. We love London!
