On November 11 I turned 28 years old. 28!!?? It feels SO old and so close to 30 but it is what it is. My birthday was on a Saturday which was nice because Kev could take the kids for me. The day started out with Kev surprising me with a massage and a facial! Ah it was amazing and so relaxing. My massage therapist told me afterwards that I needed to take 5 minutes to myself each day. haha she could tell that I have a 2 year old and 4 month old! The facial was heavenly, especially the scalp massage. Even though it made my hair greasy for a few days.
My morning at the spa was amazing and I would have been happy with just that, but when I came home Kev had some more presents for me to open. He is the very best and I love him so much.
The most memorable was opening this Harry Potter Book. I opened it up thinking, "uh Kev, we already own this book and I've read." I was just going to pretend like it was great, but then I opened it up!
And Oh My Goodness!
He got us tickets to the play when we go to London in April! In the past year he has made my dreams come true (okay a little dramatic) and has read all of the Harry Potter Books and loves them too. Apparently this play is completely sold out and you have to watch the website super close for when people let go of their tickets, and they get snatched up super quick. Well he lucked into some floor tickets and we are going! I don't think I have ever cried when receiving a gift from someone until now. It was so sweet and thoughtful! I can't even wait. Kev went above and beyond on my birthday and how can I ever top that??
That afternoon and did a little shopping all by myself and got myself some Bahama Bucks all by myself! haha I didn't spend much time with my kids on my birthday but it was so nice to have a little break and do things for me. I loved it!
We ended the night going to dinner and then to check out the Harry Potter Christmas village at the mall. My bday definitely took on a HP theme (not on purpose! ha) Here's to year 28!
