Halle is TWO! an update

I wrote this post once and accidentally deleted it!! ah. So here I go again. It took forever so I hope I can do it justice.
These are things that I don't want to forget about Halle at TWO years old.

-She is loving saying the word "two" and is kind of understanding it. She'll hold up two stuffed animals and say, "two puppies." or she'll stand in the hall and point to both of our bathrooms and say, "two potties." It's so funny. But she also thinks more than one of things is "two" so if there's four of something she thinks it's two. So we'll work on that. :)

-When she sees you eating something she says, "a bite? a bite? " over and over again

-She says, "COOOOKIE" with her voice all low like cookie monster. She still loves Sesame Street and asks to watch "Melmo"

-Started saying "apple" and "nana" and whenever we go to the store she asks, "apple? nana?" thinking that's what we are going to buy

-She LOVES books. One of my favorite things she does is sit in her room in front of her bookshelf and pull out each book one by one, look through the pages, until she's sitting in a huge pile of books

-She started calling Navy "Nay Nay" and it's so cute. She loves throwing a blanket over navy and trying to cover her up while Navy tries to get away. Navy is so patient with her, what a sweetie.

-Has learned all of her body parts, and especially loves pulling her shirt up to show you her belly button!

-When we go to a store as a family she always gets mad if Kevin tries to put his hands on the cart, she says, "no! Mama!" We have no idea why. haha

-She started to point to us and say all of our names. She loves saying her own name and it's our favorite too. She points to herself and says, "Hawee."

-We were checking out at Ikea one day and Halle started "talking" to a man behind us, in complete gibberish of course. He just smiled at her, but she kept talking and at the end of a "sentence" of some of her gibberish she pointed to herself, looking at this guy and said, "Hawee." As if saying, I'm Halle. haha I was dying! She is definitely not shy!

-Halle went through a phase where she just wanted to play with potatoes. She would carry them around in her shopping cart and one day I even found them in her doll house in the beds and everything!

-Whenever Halle leaves a room to go into another room she waves, "bye!!"
She also does this during Sacrament meeting when she's ready to not sit anymore and tries to run away. "Bye!"

-Whenever we watch a sporting event she always says, "Din!" Like Brandon, my brother, because she loves going to his Lacrosse games and she associates him with sports now

-Halle holds anything that even slightly resembles a phone, (her play phone, a remote) and says, "Hewo?" and then, "mommy, daddy, Hawee, Nay Nay"

-Halle has started saying, "Where'd mommy go? Where'd Daddy go?" ALL THE TIME. Like we were all at Costco and I went across the aisle to get something from the freezer and she's like, "where'd mommy go?" haha

-Hal loves her sleep! She'll say, "Puppy, blankie, bottle" when she wants to take a nap!

-She calls cars, "coocars." Don't know why? ha

-She knows all the farm animals and their sounds, but sometimes she'll call the animal the sound that it makes. Like she said, "a meow!" or, "a neigh!"

-Halle loves the movie Toy Story, all three actually. Her favorite character is Buzz Lightyear! She calls him, "Bubuzz" and we have watched Toy Story wayyy to much lately.

-She loves her baby cousin Wayne. She calls him "Baby Mayne" and now the whole family calls him that sometimes! haha

-Kev and I have been trying to get Halle to say please and thank you for months! At the beginning of June one morning I gave her a piece of a Granola bar and she said simply, "Thank You Mama!" Oh my gosh my heart just melted into a puddle right there. Since then she says thank you and "Pees" all the time and it's my favorite thing.

-She loves to play in her pool in the backyard-naked.

-She says, "Kisses." and you must give her kisses. Then she says, "hugs" and holds her arms out.

-We moved her into her room downstairs to make room for baby brother. I was so skeptical that it would work, but so far she sleeps down there just fine and there was nothing for me to even worry about. We have a camera on her, I couldn't do it without that!

-LOVES her Grammy & Papa (my parents) and Nana & Papa (Kevin's parents) She always asks about them.

-learned her colors! "boo, geen, puhple, pink, wed, ohnge, and so on. :)

I didn't know I could love a human this much. There's just nothing like this love!

These pictures are fun because it's fun to see how much she's changed in just a few months! These were taken in March:
