Halle's 2nd birthday was a success! She was so excited that we got her five pink balloons. We gave her a Buzz Lightyear toy and we watched Toy Story three. We made Blueberry Muffins for Breakfast and she kept saying, "Muffins!" She got some new Minnie and Mickey Books and the second she opened them she backed up into Kev's lap so he could read them to her. The first present we gave her was a banana wrapped up, and she was also so excited about it, proving to us that we really didn't need to get her that many presents. :)
We met Daddy for lunch at Chick-fil-a and then went to a park and she played at the playground before it got too hot. She came home and took a nap, (and so did 37 week pregnant mom) and then when she woke up we decorated her cake. Before I could stop her, she grabbed a big old handful of frosting off the top. She was so pleased with herself and I couldn't help but laugh. When dad got home from work she kept pointing to her cake saying birthday cake! We drove to American Fork and had birthday cake and the rest of her presents with the Papa, Nana, Lachelle, and kids and Debbie's daughter and her kids. Halle had a great time eating her cake and ice cream and pushing her new baby stroller around.  She loves going to Papa and Nana's house, they have the best backyard ever! She loved chasing all the kids around and jumping on the tramp. She had a great birthday and we love her SO MUCH.

She looks so happy! haha But I promise she really was loving life

Halle got her first kiss from her step-cousin. On her second birthday no less! Lucky girl!

I took some of these pics at the super Utah trendy Cents of Style wall for Halle's Birthday. We went when the lighting was kind of weird but got some funny ones of Hal Pal. She is so funny, she will not just sit and smile for a picture no matter how hard I try. Sometimes Kevin will get her to smile and I'll steal a pic, but most of the ones I ever get are of her moving around. That's totally Halle's personality and I love it. We met my friend Kylie there with her little girl Gwen. Gwen is nine months younger than Halle and they are the cutest little friends. It's fun to see them together because Kylie and I grew up together on the same street and became friends at like 18 months, and now our daughters are friends! I love it.

We pointed out to them that they had the same shoes and Halle thought it was pretty neat. haha What's fun about that is that when Kylie and I were little friends growing up together our moms got us matching saltwaters too, We always had pink or purple ones! So I actually gifted those pink ones to Gwen and Kylie got us some gold ones!
