March Snaps

The biggest happening in March was potty training! It was awful!! Maybe one of the worst weeks ever. Okay, and maybe I'm being a little bit dramatic but I decided I really hate potty training. Let me clarify that Halle did really well and picked it up so quickly. We were both really proud proud of her. We used the "three day method." Not so much because we thought it would work in three days, but because I liked the techniques it taught. Halle was literally telling me she had to go pee and making it to the potty by day 2, so I think the technique was great and she was really ready! She was 2 and a half when we did it) For instance, one thing I really liked about the method was instead of asking her, "do you have to go potty???" a million times a day,  you ask, "is your underwear still dry?" I think that really helped. She had some regressions and accidents but she did it. Longest week ever but we did it!

The sticker chart was a huge success!

I remember this was a day I was SO ready for Kev to come home from work, haha!

One Tuesday afternoon I was able to go skiing with my sister, just the two of us! My mom watched my kids and we headed up to the Beav and it was amazing! It was a beautiful blue sky day and it was just perfect. Halfway through I took off my big coat and we didn't really even need gloves. I love ski days like that. It was nice to take a break from real life, chat with my sis, listen to music that's not for my kids, and fly down the mountain on skis. It was incredibly freeing and invigorating. And we took way too many selfies! 

My friend Ashley came to town so we were able to meet her at Thanksgiving Point, it's always so fun to see this sweet friend of mine!

We had one o clock church (my least fav time) and we always seem to have way too much time on our hands in the morning! So pictures! 

Beau was no where close to being able to stand by himself -it's so funny to see kev holding him up like that!

We went to the Jordan River Temple Open house, it was so fun to go with Kev's family. Halle has been to an open house before, but this time was fun because she was so observant about what she saw. She still talks about the "cows" around the water and getting baptized.

My little brother sent my fam a text with this pic, it's of our old Ap American History teacher and Brandon got him to rank the Dodds. We were all laughing pretty hard. I think that Austin is really is favorite though, so I'm not sure how accurate this list really is. 

We have still been going to gymnastics every week- Halle loves it!

I met my friend McCalle for lunch one night and she told me she was pregnant! Best news! I love this girl!
