Beau's Blessing

On October 8, we blessed our sweet baby Beau. He was 3 months old when he was blessed and it was the most beautiful weekend with our family.

 Kevin's Aunt Kelley and Uncle Dale happened to be in town that weekend from Washington so they were able to come as well which was really fun. They stayed at our house and wanted to spend some time with Halle since they had really bonded with her when we were gone in Europe for a week. We had a fun day before the blessing with them and went to a pumpkin patch and had a great time with them. 

 I don't remember really what Kevin said in Beau's blessing, but I do remember the amazing spirit that was present. I felt this overwhelming joy, peace, and gratitude that I get to be Beau's mom and that he is my son. I love him so much! I look back on the day with such joy because it was so great to be surrounded by most of the people we love so much in honor of sweet baby beau. It was also really special because October 8 is Kevin's mom's birthday, so it felt really special to bless him on that day. He was the angel baby he has always been and sucked on his binkie and didn't make a peep the entire meeting. Halle didn't really understand what was going on, but she was all kinds of happy that most all of her family was there and she could barely contain her excitement! At the end of Sacrament meeting when everyone had said, "amen" after the prayer she yelled, "all done!!" 

 Later that night we were at Kirk and Debbie's house with the entire White family in honor of Dale and Kelley being in town. Halle loves her cousins!
